My business is small and perfectly formed so that I can deliver exceptional added value to my clients. Not only do I know the area intimately, but I ensure that you enjoy so much more than a guided route march.
I am proud of the area and take my ‘temporary custodianship’ of the area to the extreme – helping you and future generations understand, appreciate and enjoy the natural beauty of this outstanding area. During the course of the walks I will help reveal the geology, history and evolution of the landscape as well as allowing plenty of time for photographs and personal appreciation of the area.
My walks lead you through a variety of landscapes and areas. Each scheduled walk is shown in the overviews page, with an approximate distance, ascent and duration for average walkers. Please note that we don’t include rock climbs or scrambles so that even the inexperienced, but active and reasonably fit can explore with us. If you have any doubts as to the suitability of a particular walk, call us and we will happily advise you, ensuring your safety and enjoyment are paramount concerns.
If you want to bag some Wainwright’s or perhaps you just want the comfort of safe walking an area with a knowledgeable guide, then let me know and I will plan a route for you to cater for your exact requirements.
Thank you for visiting. I want you to be aware of changes in the way any of your personal data that you might share with me needs to be handled.

To summarise here:
Malcolm Wade and his website designer Charles Paxton aren’t asking you for any more of your data or asking to use it differently.
In brief it explains:
1. what data we collect from you, Malcolm only needs the information that he asks you to provide him with to book your Lakeland walks and other adventures. That’s all. If you want to write any comments on his Facebook page or this blog or stay in touch in later life, that’s up to you, and it’s fine with Malcolm.
2. how he uses this data. He uses contact details to contact you and arrange your schedule and to ensure that you get the best chance to learn navigation skills and become certified.
3. and the rights regarding our treatment of your data.
